INGREDIENTS
2 medium potatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
First, wash and peel the potatoes (you can keep the skin on if you like).
Slice the potatoes thinly using a sharp knife or a slicer. Try to keep all the slices the same thickness so they cook evenly.
Place the potato slices in a bowl of cold water. Let them soak for about 15 to 20 minutes. This helps remove extra starch and makes them crispier.
After soaking, drain the water and pat the potato slices dry with a clean towel or paper towel.
Put the slices into a dry bowl. Add olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika (if using). Mix well so all slices are coated.
Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for about 3 minutes.
Arrange the potato slices in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Try not to overlap them too much. You may need to cook in batches.
Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes. Shake the basket or flip the slices halfway through cooking. Cook until they are golden brown and crispy.
Take them out and let them cool slightly. Serve as a snack or side dish.
